    If Jays are going to give Vlad 3B reps, I'd rather the Jays try and sign Conforto as a better team fit than Freeman. Gurriel played some 1B reasonably well last season, so he is a part time option there. A Conforto signing means Grichuk is primarily used as a anchor for the bench.

    The TV deals would have labour dispute clauses. Typically with these clauses neither party pays damages to the other, contract performance is simply suspended.

    Hopefully the owners are ready for good faith bargaining. They've enjoyed some savings during the lockout, but that will turn to looses if they don't get a deal soon.
