  1. When's the funeral?
  2. Lind was injured on June 14th, seems like someone dropped the ball on this one. Remember, Reyes tweaked his hammy late in ST, rested for a few days, was allowed to play in Mtl and reinjured it on OD. Same with Rasmus. Seems like they have a problem.
  3. Wasn't upset at all...all good. Jays need to worry about themselves, rest will take care of itself.
  4. I certainly agree. He needs to pitch more innings. He's at 96 after today's start, maybe he can pitch 125-135 for the year.
  5. I never mentioned the Blue Jays in my post. I refuse to even look for any positives that may result from any player being injured. Blue Jays were ahead of Yankees while Tanaka was healthy.
  6. Terrible news for baseball. Yanks and Tanaka should just get the TJS out of the way now so he can be their big July acquisition in 2015 instead of trying to rehab it for 6 weeks and pretty much ensure he's out for 2015.
  7. Yeah, but they had injuries, it's ok for them to be excused.
  8. Yeah, GB% has always stood out for me and kept me somewhat optimistic despite the BB% and low K%. Hopefully, the Buffalo pitching coach is helping him improve.
  9. He's shown improvement in his last few starts. Nowhere near enough SSS to draw definite conclusions. Hopefully they leave him at Buffalo for remainder of season.
  10. Sanchez tonight: 6IP, 5H (1HR), 2ER, 2BB, 6K, 10GO/0FO, 55 of 83 pitches were strikes.
  11. If you're going to fill a need, I'd go for a long term SS. Beyond that, Headley should be the cheapest since he's a FA to be having a down year and dealing with injuries.
  12. Should Barreto be promoted to Lansing? I'd love to see Barreto, Castro and Pentecost earn promotions to Lansing to finish off the season.
  13. I don't think many teams could do very well without 3 of their top 6 hitters, but I've been wrong before. Not to mention Bautista playing banged up. I don't know how any team could have the depth to not suffer after such injuries. Call it an excuse if you want, but take Cruz, Machado and another guy out of the O's line up and they won't have the depth. Same with the vaunted Red Sox, Yanks and Rays. Anyway...
  14. what's worse, Reyes getting thrown out there or Gibbons stealing with Bautista at the plate in the 1st?
  15. Pillar should be up for Mastro, but he pissed off Biggie and you can't do that.
  16. LOL @ those who picked the Red Sox to win 90+ games.
  17. Don't blame Gibbons, AA told him to give the steal sign there.
  18. Yeah, but I have no clue why they pushed him back so many days after the rainouts. Anyway, I'm sure he'll come back strong his next start...oh s***, I just jinxed him.
  19. I wonder how much Norris' struggles are due to him not having pitched since June 29th or 9 days ago? Who knows, but I'm thinking the layoff may have screwed up his routine since he was on such a roll.
  20. Because AA told Gibbons to bat him second.
