The Cubs are paying a good chunk of Soriano's contract, but nice try. No one has bailed out the Dodgers yet, we'll talk if/when it does happen and if it does happen, I suspect the Dodgers will have to send a good chunk of $ to the other team and not expect much in terms of prospects in return. I never mentioned the Braves, but yes, Uggla's deal was bad, but at least they didn't give up any prospects to get B.J. Upton.
