  1. I actually think the opposite is true as I think Gibby has left him too long several times. It bothered me more when he kept pulling him too late after he had been burned several times earlier in the year by leaving him in to get out of trouble. Thing with Gibby is, he sometimes pulls guys too early, like Stroman against the White Sox, and sometimes too late. Hindsight you may say, but it's more about the lack of consistency for me. Take Wednesday vs the Angels for example, up by 1, 7th inning, runner on, lets Loup face Pujols. Last night, 7th inning, up by 3, 2 out and won't let Cecil face Longoria with Loney on deck. Anyway, I veered away from Dickey towards Gibby....my bad.
  2. Pillar's in Biggie's doghouse.
  3. Wow, this guy is 6' 6", 200 LB, another tall lefty. Seems to have good command as well as nice K numbers...promote him!
  4. Seems like they should've had plenty of time to get him a passport by now, especially since it took a few weeks to sign him. I don't even agree with sending him to Vancouver, send him to Lansing and see what happens.
  5. It's probably the same people who decided he'd be the OD starter 2 seasons in a row, which is usually given to team Aces...
  6. So when is Pentecost gonna be promoted to Lansing or wherever they plan on sending him? Also, how about promoting Barreto and Castro already?
  7. My thoughts as well, but then I remembered this rule only applies against the Blue Jays...
  8. Wait, I'll tell him to call you and let you know. He's injured though, so he may be away for awhile.
  9. Hopefully, Delabar gets his s*** together. He's walked 1 in his last 3 appearances. Stilson is injured so he's not a candidate yet.
  10. I wouldn't say "no one", but I get your point. Without double-checking, the bench seems to have actually been improved, it's just that some of them have played too much, but that's due to the injuries. I think we all love the Reimold pickup as he could be that bat that they were missing off the bench whether to platoon with Lind or to PH. I just hope he can address SS/2B/3B without giving up the young pitching already at the MLB level or upper minors.
  11. So I guess Happ is back on everyone's hate list, lol. He's a 5th starter, nothing more. This should've been an easy decision.
  12. What, you're trying to run this site like the guy in your avatar? I guess I'll have to behave like Wilner from now on...
  13. Don't blame me for your incompetence? LOl. Who knows, maybe 'cause I live and let live....for the most part!
  14. Your name + your comment = ....oxymoron? I'm sure you'll change your mind after 4 abs by Tolleson vs rhp.
  15. Just messing with you bro, all good, but Gibby still screwed up that bullpen move in the 7th
  16. Didn't you say before "Gibby" has a s***** team to work with or something alike? Just sayin'...
  17. You're dancing around the issue, I think you mentioned you were drunk somewhere in the GT? LOL, I'm the one bringing up the issue, I have no clue why you bring up hypothetical complaints from trolls. There was no need to take out Cecil with 2 outs, a 3-run lead and Loney due after Longoria. I also raised the issue of letting Loup face Pujols with a 1-run lead and a runner on the other day. But anyway, to each his own.
  18. No reasonable person would've complained. Remember, Loney was next. Even if Longoria got on, there's a better chance that Cecil gets Loney than McGowan getting him out.
  19. There was no reason to take out Cecil. If he let Loup face Pujols with a guy on and a 1-run lead, he should've let Cecil face Longoria with 2 out, a 3-run lead and no runners on.
  20. Does Rodriguez hit the ball out if McGowan puts it where it's supposed to? Issue is command, he walked 2 guys prior to Rodriguez and missed his spot again, it just so happened that this time he missed in the middle of the strike zone.
  21. In all seriousness though, I have no clue why Cecil was taken out.
  22. Gibby's been asking for help with his bullpen management all year, AA's just too busy with the waiver wire to realize it. In fact, AA's probably telling Gibbons how to mismanage his bullpen.
