  1. With a few flip-flops in between...
  2. They can never be wrong though since they can always blame projection systems for their wrongness. We'll see what happens...
  3. You're right. There was talk of some changes to his delivery so maybe the AAA pitching coach, Randy St-Claire, helped him out.
  4. All I know is the advanced geniuses don't even think he can be a good reliever so forget about Sanchez, he's a AA talent at best.
  5. Castro: 5IP, 4H, 1ER, 3BB, 5K, 6GO/2FO. Also, Andy Burns with a 3-4 night. I think it's time to move him up to AAA and give him some AB's there before the end of the season.
  6. Should we also give him credit for letting Hutchison throw 113 pitches in 5+ innings just before the ASB at TB?
  7. Aaron f***ing Sanchez is 2-0, who said he wan't ready?
  8. Reimold is the type of acquisition I was looking for (easy to say right now, I know), although I was thinking more a middle infielder, but an upgrade is an upgrade.
  9. Don't worry, these guys whine about Navarro when the team gives up 1 run or more.
  10. A's may also be trying to help their chances of getting a stadium built by their city by winning it all.
  11. Miguel Castro is a huge omission when it comes to the Jays top 20 prospects. In fact, it makes it laughable.
  12. O's take the lead. 2-1 O's, bottom 8th.
  13. You've gotta keep calm. First off, it's 3 against the Red Sox and 4 against the Astros. I'd say 4-3 would be fine on the road. 5-2 would just be awesome. I'll take the 4-3 as the O's visit Aug 5-7th.
  14. But he's never been in good shape? Jose Molina is out of shape, I guess if he got in good shape he'd be better than Yadier...
  15. Depends on who those prospects were, but I would think if the Jays didn't want to part with these 'spects, they could've just assumed more of Headley's remaining contract. I guess they want to neither take on $$$ nor give up prospects to compensate for not taking on $$.
  16. Exactly. At the end of the day, people believe what they want to when they want to. Some choose to believe the report that the Jays pursued Anibal Sanchez before going to the Marlins to talk about JJ, some choose not to. Just an example.
  17. Pompey continues to hit. One thing I noticed was that he got CS for the 5th time in 11 (?) attempts at AA. I know it's SSS, so take it for what it's worth.
  18. Who cares....they care about advanced stats!!!
  19. I'm not a big fan of leaving Sanchez in for the 8th. Don't get me wrong, I like what I've seen from him (SSS, of course), but to not use Cecil or Loup against Gardner, who was leading off the inning, is just something I don't agree with. So now Gibbons doesn't do matchups because Sanchez is his new favourite reliever. Reminds me of when McGowan was first moved to the pen, he couldn't stop praising him, now he doesn't trust him anymore...
