This game's not on Gibbons, but his bullpen management continues to be suspect.
I'm not sure Santos should've gone out for the 7th, but he certainly should've been taken out after the IBB to Pujols. He was approaching 30 pitches and it would've given Delabar a little bit of wiggle room, especially since everyone but Gibbons knows he struggles with command. Arguably, it should've been Cecil coming in, but I can live with bringing in Delabar.
The offense certainly didn't have a good game, but they were facing a tough pitcher in Richards and that idiot Hernandez certainly didn't help matters calling strikes 6 inches off the outside corner to left-handed hitters.
Anyway, a split would be good.
