  1. I never said he's being hated on as a person. Reyes the player is fine, he didn't offer himself 22M and AA didn't trade for Reyes alone, it so happens that the trade has been so bad that all the Jays have in return is Reyes and Buehrle. Early on last year, many were hatin' on good ol' Buehrle. Again, blame AA for not getting a discount for the back-loaded contracts he agreed to take on.
  2. I brought it up because if it was Navarro, some would be all over him. Umps are crap, that's the bottom line.
  3. LOL. That was a well hit groundball on the turf, it was a hit. I'm not saying Reyes has great range, but that was not an example of bad range. Blame AA for trading for Reyes, I don't get the hatred for the guy.
  4. LOL at those blasting Reyes, but not Kratz for his "great" framing.
  5. When Mcgowan sucks in the pen, I hope you finally get off his nuts.
  6. You've gotta stop thinking rationally in order to understand this FO.
  7. I wouldn't either as long as it's just to stretch him out again with the intention of him coming back up very soon to start for one of the 2-headed monster. Thing is, they are clueless. They had already aligned Stroman's starts with McGowan's, but McGowan had one of his lucky starts and like they're wont to do, they changed their plans and called him up to pitch out of the BP.
  8. So another article where AA looks like a bigger fool, maybe the Gomes trade is the reason he hired Jason Pare away from the Indians: http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/gomes-not-the-same-player-jays-traded-away/
  9. So the Jays have increased their analytics department from 1 to 2: http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/analytics-becoming-increasingly-important-for-jays/ Maybe it's this JFaS character, haven't seen him post in a bit.
  10. I'm sure tomorrow will be a Happier game for Blue Jays fans.
  11. I have no problem firing Beeston first and letting the new president hire the new GM, but you've gotta save $ somewhere and I figure Beeston makes more than AA. Ideally, clean house.
  12. LOL. If I was the owner of this franchise, I'd fire the GM after this and put the president on notice.
  13. Not only has he only thrown 6 innings, but he's thrown them on 2 or so days' rest when he's been preparing as a starter since ST 2013. Maybe this doesn't matter much, but I think it may require a bit of time to reacquaint himself to coming out of the pen every other day or 2 days.
  14. I'd agree that Hutchison is on an innings limit. However, they're letting McGowan and Happ start over their top pitching prospect so what would be so different about moving Hutchison to the pen to start the year and let Redmond or Rogers start? I really don't see much difference between Redmond, Rogers, McGowan and Happ except that Redmond has been a bit more successful than the other 3 over the last year or so. I really wish there was a method to their stupidity, but I can't find it. They're babying Stroman who pitched close to 140 innings last season, but they aren't babying a guy who pitched around 60 innings in 2013 while coming back from TJS.
  15. He wasn't even on the 40-man roster. If they were gonna burn a year of control on anyone, it should've been Stilson since he'll be reliever. Too late now.
  16. Could you explain to the board why Stroman would be limited, but not Hutchison?
  17. Not like Thole didn't have a PB yesterday...and it wasn't Dickie who was pitching at the time.
  18. If it was Navarro catching, everyone would be blaming him for not framing that pitch, lol.
  19. Looks like someone jinxed the Twins as the Sox have tied the game @ 6
  20. Not blaming Gibbons, but he needs to take out Francisco for Tolleson in the 7th inning with a 4-run lead, doesn't he? Don't get me wrong, Tolleson isn't a great defender, but Lawrie @ 3B and Tolleson @ 2B is better than Francisco @ 3B. I know it doesn't feel this way, but the team is actually 7-3 in its last 10...I know it surprised me to find out.
  21. Yeah, no doubt, out of control. He also stole his 5th base of the season....and was CS for the 8th time.
