Their team is stacked as it is, with loads of young players to boot. I don't see the point in them trading for anything anymore outside of small pieces here and there, especially for Carrasco (Indians will demand a lot for him).

Cubs lineup by age: 1. Zobrist (34) 2. Rizzo (26) 3. Heyward (26) 4. Bryant (24 in January) 5. Schwarber (23 in March) 6. Soler (24 in February) 7. Montero (32) 8. Russell (22 in January) Coghlan (30) Baez (23) Ross (39 in March) I'm jelly, even with the Jays lineup.

I actually haven't, but I have read The Futurological Congress (it is quite different from the movie). Both are very good. I can tell he was inspired by Philip K. Dick with that novel, especially The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch.

Soderbergh's version is underrated. It's difficult to make a film adaptation of a book. Too different, and people would criticize the filmmakers of deviating too much from the book. Too similar, and there would be no point adapting the book.

I'm not so big on the Estrada extension the more I think about it. IMO, if Ross Atkins was heavily involved in the influx of talent in the Indians organization over the past few years, I'll be happy. I wonder what Indians fans know about him.
