  1. I'm definitely in for doing something, just not at significant long-term cost for a rental. Hamels would be awesome. Edwin for a pitcher could make sense. Fiers. Gerardo Parra might come surprisingly cheap.
  2. I feel like Tyson Ross isn't the kind of pitcher to make a significant commitment to. Two straight years with a declining fastball velo and awful mechanics that result in awful control and make him a huge injury risk. I'd be all over him as a free agent on a short term deal, but I'm definitely not moving top assets for him.
  3. A 0.500 team should not be looking to acquire Jeff Samardzija. He's going to cost one of Norris/Hoffman/Pompey/Alford.
  4. Get a co-manager who actually pays attention to the daily lineup.
  5. No that's too harsh. I'm pretty clearly the Orioles.
  6. Damn. This is going to take the fun out of his impending defeat in the LOD.
  7. The Twins are a terrible team.
  8. I prefer Moss, but I guess Hamilton is a nifty weapon to have.
  9. The guy who's defense is barely passable should probably just let the elite defender take any ball he can get to. Reyes: stay out of JD's way.
  10. Welp, I was planning on trolling Ang ITT, but I see now that it won't be possible to troll him without also trolling a bunch of other people, so I'll just bail out.
  11. Is he even wrong? http://www.nationmaster.com/country-info/stats/Education/Average-years-of-schooling-of-adults Cliffs: Dominicans r dumn
  12. Yeah, I'd let Cleveland pillage the system. Any four prospects would be fine with me.
  13. Anyone who's watched the Giants in the past has seen him hit monster fly balls to the opposite field with a lot more regularity than you'd expect from a guy with his numbers. He's always had pop. I can definitely buy a change in approach that has allowed him to get more out of a tool that has always been there.
  14. You could make a very convincing argument that his dynasty value is behind only Tulo, Correa, and Russell.
  15. Boxy, how many shortstops would you trade Crawford for?
  16. The BABIP gods hurt him today. Bad luck.
