Yeah. You can see them walking the tightrope this offseason. Doing everything they can to field a winner in 2015 while also stopping the bleeding of youth from the system and avoiding risky long-term deals. I think they've done a nice job. Not even remotely sexy, but they've effectively re-build the rotation on the cheap.
He was almost 30% better offensively in 2015 than in 2014. If he had repeated his 2014 performance he wouldn't have lasted the season and would be looking for a minor league deal somewhere.
The bench is kind of full now.
