  1. Yeah, whoever put the final list together didn't account for forfeited picks, so if J4L19 had too many, Shaw goes back into the draft pool. I think 1-2 other picks are being evaporated too.
  2. It seems as though starting Zack Eflin today was a mistake.
  3. The best statistician in the business.
  4. What the f*** are you talking about?
  5. I imagine that they're exactly where the Jays were with Storen immediately preceding his DFA: they'd seen enough and were ready to tell him to GTFO. Must have been nobody else who wanted him.
  6. Connors window expired. Orging up.
  7. Offer is still on the table, but I've been offering similar deals around so I didn't want it sitting there for days.
  8. Also, I see it now. The following people can suck a big bag of veiny dicks: Spanky, King, GD.
  9. Did you get the trade proposal I sent you yesterday and then canceled?
  10. Yeah, me and Grant are always on the same page.
  11. I don't think that's necessarily true. Seattle's front office is pretty astute, and they have their reasons for thinking Storen will be better. It's really just a challenge trade.
  12. Spanky, I have no idea what the f*** you're trying to say.
  13. Yeah. For me swapping Storen and Benoit is basically a coin flip, but in the context of Storen's DFA this is a pretty nifty decision.
  14. I hear that Atkins likes to negotiate in person so that Shapiro can kick meetings off by flopping his giant balls out on the table and establishing dominance.
  15. I'll say that, given that Storen has been DFA'd, I'd rather pay Benoit to pitch than pay Storen to sit on his couch.
  16. Yeah, it's fine. Certainly nothing to complain about. Gun to my head I probably take Benoit ROS, but it seems really close.
  17. lol @ this thread. Two ageing, struggling relief pitchers with identical salaries. Determining which one will be more valuable over the next 20 innings is pretty much the closest thing you get to a coin flip in baseball. Calling this a great move seems like a bit much.
  18. Storen has probably been better than Revere lol
  19. Much like Grilli, Benoit was hurt earlier this year and the velo/peripherals look fine. Maybe another case of never really getting comfortable.
  20. Yeah, your team doesn't really need any help.
