  1. Involving Martin puts him in a tough position. They'd be asking him to report honestly on an issue that directly impacts his teammate, and he knows that Sanchez wants to start. Who knows A) if Martin has anything valuable to add, if he'd be honest, and C) how honesty from Martin would impact his relationship with Sanchez. Best to leave him out IMO.
  2. Holy blockbuster. I'm assuming good prospects going to North in the deal?
  3. Yeah. He had two accounts, one very negative and the other positive. They would frequently argue with each other. This place has been home to some very sick people.
  4. lol, what did Spanky get banned for?
  5. I should. njh probably forgot to carry a 1 or something.
  6. Would be nice to have some quality pitching prospects ready for some MLB innings next year, but Harris and SRF are probably 2018 options more than 2017. It will be interesting to see the team enter the offseason with all 5 rotation spots locked in though. When was the last time that happened?
  7. Yeah. Stroman, Sanchez, Estrada, Happ, Liriano in-house means that Dickey @ 8-10M is probably not the best use of resources next year. It would be surprising to see him brought back at this point.
  8. That would be effective. I don't even want to know how many wins he cost me in BORED.
  9. Someone is rostering Huston Street?
  10. Jim Johnson seems like the guy for you.
  11. So Shapiro is looking at context-dependant value, probably something analogous to WPA. Nice.
  12. Yikes. Please don't ever wear my skin, k?
  13. Works for Toronto without necessarily being bad for Pittsburgh. Shedding 17M is huge for them, and McGuire and Ramirez most likely bust. I like it for the Jays though. Basically buying two interesting prospects and rotation upside with $$$.
  14. And I always thought you were the least mentally disabled of the forum high school kids.
  15. Not gonna lie, I'm experiencing a bit of schadenfreude here. With his overall arrogant attitude and obnoxious contract posturing a few months ago, sitting at 0.6 fWAR in August of his walk year looks good on him.
  16. Moderate antisocial behaviour and low everything else. It's remarkable how healthy I am compared to you basement-dwelling weirdos.
  17. Just traded Bickford for him in BORED. Am enjoying the PRODUKSHUN.
  18. Wow, the second prospect is Reese McGuire? This is a great trade.
  19. Yeah. Jesse Chavez traded for 4(?) years of what is basically Jesse Chavez.
  20. I think Cyborg mentioned a few days ago that he sucks, presumably because his xFAP+- is bad, and all the kids on the forum are parroting him.
  21. Santana would be a nice addition. Above-average starter who has been very durable, and his contract is very nice: 13.5M in 2017 and 2018 and then a 14M team option in 2019 and vesting option in 2020. If he comes at a cost of very little prospect capital, he's a nice mid-rotation starter that could be here for 3-4 years. And he probably means no Dickey/Thole next year.
