Eventually Freeman is going to get traded (St. Louis, Boston, or New York?) and start slashing somewhere in the range of 270/370/500 with 25/100/100 production. And he's only in his age-26 season. That's more valuable than any prospect.

I hate this. I'm 26 games over 0.500 and fighting for my playoff life. 26 over in DDL and you pretty much have your playoff ticket punched.
