  1. It's hard to see Oberholtzer making the team. Him and Bolsinger are too similar (guys whose value is in their ability to quickly transition to the rotation, but don't have the stuff to profile as very good relievers), but Bolsinger seems to just be a better pitcher. Oberholtzer probably gets through waivers too.
  2. So right now we have: Osuna Grilli Biagini Loup (only lefty, so close to lock, but does have options) out of options Bolsinger Oberholtzer Schultz remaining options Campos Leone Barnes Dermody Girodo Of the out of options guys, Bo Schultz is probably finished here. Bolsinger is probably close to a lock to make the team, as he's a very useful swingman and probably wouldn't make it through waivers. So there will probably be some competition between Sparkman and Oberholtzer for one spot, with Sparkman having more upside, and thus the inside track. So something like: Osuna Grilli Biagini free agent signing Loup Bolsinger Sparkman/Oberholtzer/one of the guys with options only if they other two suck in spring
  3. Yup
  4. Yankees finished 84-78. They probably finish like 75-87 without Betances-Chapman-Miller. You weren't necessarily doing this, but I hate when people use them missing the playoffs as an argument against the effectiveness of a stacked bullpen.
  5. Do you even read this forum?
  6. Based on what I've seen, you probably would have run the LoD Padres into the ground worse than Nafro TBH.
  7. Six dynasty league seasons. Six times I've been better than you. Will be 8/8 in a year. You're talking to one.
  8. So you've never finished ahead of me. Please tone done the disrespect of superior fantasy players.
  9. Have you ever finished ahead of me in any dynasty league?
  10. It's a bunch of guys that most people would have in the 50-150 range of prospects. Guys like that aren't rare. Guys like Moncada are.
  11. That's definitely worse than the Sale package and probably worse than the Eaton package to someone who sees Giolito as a star.
  12. I want Correa very badly, but i don't believe I have the assets.
  13. Imagine being Brett Oberholtzer and reading this thread? That would suck.
  14. I like Chris Iannetta. He can hit a bit, and always gets a lot of praise for his ability to handle a staff. Not sure where his framing talent actually falls, but at 1/4 or something I think he'd make a nice backup. If Martin does go down, I trust an Iannetta/Jimenez tandem to handle the staff more than I trust a Jimenez/McGuire tandem.
  15. Every year there are rumours that an elite player won't get paid. They always get paid. Last year it was Justin Upton whose 'market collapsed' and he got 133M. Edwin is going to get paid, probably more than 80M.
  16. You think payroll is going to 180M?
  17. Yeah. There have been so many cringey comments over the years that it's tough to remember them all. His attempts to use fan support to strong-arm the front office in contract negotiations before the season were pathetic. I'm still convinced that Shapiro leaked the 6/180 rumour to put him in his place.
  18. I'm really warming to the idea of Jarrod Dyson. He's a very good player, and a lot of fun to watch. Might be amenable to an extension too, as he's never been a full-time player and might find guaranteed money attractive. Downside would be that Gibby will almost certainly hit him first in the order.
  19. Payroll is a hair over 133 if Pearce makes ~6.25 in 2016.
  20. Duquette is a professional though. It's his job to field a winning team. There's no best way to be a fan.
