Glasnow scrapped the windup before his first AAA start this year, and says it helps his stuff play up, and helps him remain consistent pitch to pitch and start to start. He's been utterly dominant in AAA since making the change, much better than even his 2016 stint. I'm really looking forward to his recall.

The only pitchers I really love right now who are getting top-30 hype are Buehler and Honeywell. I prefer the strong hitter crop though.

Just you. Moncada may be a bit weaker than most #1 overalls, but guys like Devers, Vlad, Acuna, Robles, and Jimenez look like absolute monsters, and Torres and Rosario look like excellent all-around talents. Top-10 is absolutely loaded IMO.

Who wants to play fantasy baseball with someone who looks people up on twitter and then publicly makes fun of their appearance and the appearance of their spouse? At least part of the appeal of these is that everyone is at least mostly respectable on a personal level. Randy wasn't. I never understood why greenwood chose that hill to die on.

Pillar right now? Yes. But Simmons was entering his age-26 season and controllable for 5 more years, and was coming off a 3-win age-25 season. An asset like Newcomb, with long odds to ever be a 3-win player, was nowhere close to an adequate return.

Wow, Andrelton Simmons has a 120 wRC+ and 4.5 fWAR. He's provided LA with 7.6 wins in less than two years, and is under control for three more years. Trading him for Sean Newcomb was never not insane.

What was our trade? Kazmir + Broxton for Gsellman + Gio I think? Gsellman and Kazmir are complete zeros, so you'll end the year ahead in this one because Gio has been better than Broxton. I'll almost certainly hold on Broxton though. He's going to go 20-25 in a very disappointing year and I can't quit on those tools.
