Did you even shop him? I have a very hard time believing that the best you could do for a shortstop putting up a 150 wRC+ is a reliever that was on the waiver wire a week ago. He's in his age-31 season. It's not like he's 38.

Yeah, he scrapped the windup before his first AAA start this year. He says it helps him stay consistent. He's extremely lanky and was all over the place in the majors. He's seen a velo increase and huge jump in control since making the change.

He's actually been markedly better than Honeywell: K-BB% Glasnow = 28.7 Honeywell = 23.7 xFIP Glasnow = 2.29 Honeywell = 2.70 ERA Glasnow = 1.57 Honeywell = 3.54 Of course Honeywell is a year younger, which is big. The two of them, along with Buehler, look like the three best pitching prospects in the game right now.

Glasnow has found control, for the time being at least. 30/3 K/BB over his last 3 starts. Fingers crossed that he doesn't implode again when recalled, but he's absolutely dummying AAA.

Hard to believe a playoff team wouldn't see that Marco is healthy and give up prospect worth having to get him for a playoff start. Colorado for example. I'd trust Estrada for a start in Dodger Stadium more than any of their guys except Gray.

Not saying you're in a bad place. Just that I don't think any team is going to go on an extended run of complete dominance. You looked unbeatable, then you weren't. SG won't look that way forever either.
