  1. Did I though? It seems as though the majority of the league didn't think so.
  2. You shouldn't even have to do that though. This is zero-sum: You open up two spots to use on waiver wire trash, and your trade partner drops the two least valuable players on his roster to the waiver wire. This is the definition of complaining about nothing.
  3. Is this changing the rules? I've literally been assuming since the start of the DDL that non-playoff teams were free to make trades during the playoffs.
  4. I honestly can't believe this is even being raised as an issue.
  5. But why does it matter that eliminated teams can make trades after the deadline? It's the same way in MLB - the trade deadline is for playoff roster eligibility.
  6. Can one of the three people who have an issue with processing these as they happen please articulate in words why they want to delay processing them for 3 weeks?
  7. I really don't understand why we'd complicate things by forcing someone to go back in two months and process these. Just to prevent eliminated teams from picking through waiver trash with their free roster spots?
  8. Lesson learned. When Jason Vargas ranks in the top-200 late in the season, you appreciate your good luck and cut ties before he blows up in the playoffs.
  9. That reminds me, I have to banish that POS to the waiver wire in BORED. It won't undo the pain he caused me last night, but it will help a bit.
  10. I'm rostering like 6 guys I plan on dropping to free agency before the end of the year so my column in the spreadsheet has less trash. If you can find something keeper worthy on the waiver wire on September 6th, you deserve the asset.
  11. I'm not sure I understand the hesitation to process trades on the MLB side for eliminated teams.
  12. I'm never going to win this league, so my opinion doesn't matter, but that sounds pretty cool.
  13. Kids, this is why you don't own Jason Vargas.
  14. I disagree. Stealing signs is fine with me until teams start using technology to do it.
  15. https://www.google.ca/amp/s/mobile.nytimes.com/2017/09/05/sports/baseball/boston-red-sox-stealing-signs-yankees.amp.html
  16. J.P. Crawford making his debut tonight. Looking forward to seeing him.
  17. I'm pretty sure eliminated teams are allowed to make trades now.
  18. I had the 3rd-best pitching staff, and my most valuable pitcher was Anthony Swarzak lol.
  19. 4/33 to start the week. f***.
  20. I regretted starting Bettis in Coors on a Monday in the playoffs as soon as it was too late to change it. Lucky I didn't get burned.
  21. Wow, Dinger has missed the playoffs.
