  2. Are other of those players even better than JBJ short term? I have my doubts.
  3. Ugh, BP's website is terrible. I'm on month to month billing because I don't use their content year round. I buy premium access in November, and then get auto-billed on December 6th - that's fine, most sites work that way, I'll just turn off auto-billing. It takes forever to find the area to change membership level, but eventually I find it and switch back to free. For every other site I've ever used, this change kicks in after the month you've already paid for. Not for BP - I'm down to a free access 5 days after buying a month of premium. When I try to change it back to premium, they try to bill me again. The idiots running this site get literally everything wrong. /rant
  4. It's 2017 and Boston has tunnel vision about adding 'power' instead of just adding talent wherever they can. This bodes very well for Toronto in the long term.
  5. Lmao @ Jack Morris getting in while Mike Mussina and Kevin Brown might not. These idiots have no f***ing idea what they’re doing.
  6. There are still a few guys who will likely sign 1-2 year deals and would be valuable given that the team doesn't currently have a 5th starter: Cahill, Garcia, Lackey, and Sabathia are all interesting to varying degrees. And the, as you say, guys like Hutch and Ross for AAA.
  7. I wouldn't give him four years. Something like the 3/36 Happ got would be about my max. I don't trust Cobb at all long term.
  8. Never heard of him
  9. Wow, the only return here is whatever they get for Castro
  10. What a f***ing blowhard
  11. And a bunch more at Fenway, RC, and Camden. If he stays healthy he’s going to have silly numbers.
  12. Apparently Stanton to NY is close to done
  13. They have a need too: just have to acknowledge that Gonzalez is done and move Bellinger to 1B. SS - Seager LF - Stanton 3B - Turner 1B - Bellinger RF - Puig 2B - Taylor C - Grandal/Barnes CF - Pederson/Toles That's not too bad
  14. Clint Frazier almost has to be going. I'm assuming he'd be the biggest piece.
  15. Their 2019 core of Judge, Stanton, Sanchez, and Machado is going to be nuts!
  16. Still doesn't know if he'll be allowed back in the US.
  17. The Angels are suddenly a really fun team. Trout/Upton/Simmons/Calhoun are a great lineup core, and Ohtani is exactly what that rotation needed. If Richards/Skaggs/Shoemaker/Mayer can stay reasonably healthy, they have a chance to be pretty good.
  18. So the Padres seem to have real interest in Hosmer. I guess you can never have too many mediocre 1B making $20M a year.
  19. I'll be pretty disappointed if he signs there. They're such a boring, unimpressive team. I'm rooting for Chicago or one of the LA teams.
  20. Yeah, if he chooses Seattle he had his mind made up before this process began and is signing there because of it's proximity to Japan. What do they have going for them? - Their team is not good in the present, and seems to be mismanaged. - Their future outlook is bleak - They haven't done a good job keeping pitchers healthy
  21. Wasn’t his arb projection right at 6M? Why wouldn’t Detroit throw Houston some fringe prospect for him?
  22. You’re a head commish of LoD now. Get used to the recognition. The fame. The drugs, women and money.
  23. He’s mostly avoided career-threatening injury, so he’s not someone you’d follow closely for fantasy purposes.
