  1. I'd be satisfied with this outcome.
  2. That's actually a pretty good comp based on everything I've read on Kingery. IMO he's a pretty nifty fantasy asset, especially given that he's just about MLB ready.
  3. Longenhagen on one of Boxy's new toys: Connor 1:15 Thoughts on Scott Kingery, and his ceiling? Eric A Longenhagen 1:16 I love Scotty Jetpacks. Chance to hit .300, play golg glove defense at 2B, steal a bunch of bases, and I buy that he could hit 16-20 homers annually. Golg Gloves™
  4. Proposal: cuts due 11:59 PM February 28th. Waiver draft starts 9AM Monday, March 5th.
  5. What's everyone feeling for a cut down and waiver draft date? Should probably be pushed to early March this year with the weird offseason.
  6. Atlanta's farm is overrated. It's all Acuna. After him you have Pache, who has never hit a pro homerun, and a bunch of pitchers.
  7. Jaceon will certainly be on my waiver draft board
  8. 32 players, of which 18-22 must be MLB players.
  9. So my offseason is basically over. My cuts, should anyone want one of these guys: Jason Vargas Robinson Chirinos I'd also trade my 6th round MiLB pick for a prospect scheduled to get the axe at the cut, provided he's even moderately interesting.
  10. Pedroia is gonna score 100 runs this year leading off in front of Betts and JDM.
  11. Pedroia to Abom for MiLB 41.
  12. IMO Pedroia and especially Swarzak are slam dunk keepers, especially with the option to keep 22 guys.
  13. I really botched that for you. You should have heeded my advice when I said I didn’t go any research on late picks.
  14. Still no other offers on Swarzak/Pedroia. Dinger on track to get a steal.
  15. I’ll accept Warmoth for Pedroia and Swarzak at 5 PM ET today if nobody beats that offer. I don’t love Warmoth, so make an offer. IIRC Swarzak was a top-40 player last year. He’s really good!
  16. My Pedroia auction concluded with zero bids. Next up: Anthony Swarzak
  17. Out league doesn't really value players who put up big numbers in 200-300 PAs though.
  18. I don't think I have a read on his bat. He could be anything. The level he has to hit to be 20-team relevant is very high though. Yoenis Cespedes went 292/352/540 with 17 homers (131 wRC+) in 321 PA and wasn't a top-500 player in out format.
  19. 70 power might play, but how well does he have to hit to warrant a roster spot of its 2-3 starts a week? I don’t even think a 120 wRC+ cuts it.
  20. I’m not expecting Ohtani to be a relevant bat in 20 team leagues. I don’t see how you can roster a guy who plays 2-3 days a week.
  21. I think, accounting for Ohtani's health questions, you wouldn't put it at less than like 40%.
  22. What's the probability that Honeywell alone carries more fantasy than Ohtani over the next five years?
  23. Yeah if Ohtani is promoted pre-cut, he'll count as one asset for the purposes of the cut, but come the waiver draft, will take up two yahoo spots. If he's left on the farm, it's a non-issue.
  24. So everyone is cool with Ohtani occupying one roster spot for the cut, whether farm or MLB, and two if only one Ohtani is traded?
