  1. Who transferred their team to J4L19?
  2. No. Only way to add an MiLB player is via the draft or trade.
  3. I’m pretty sure Jimbo is in his 60s. Entirely possible that he was pulling 10s back in the 70s and 80s then settled down later in life to have his family. Hearing loss might be recent. I believe him. Nobody would just lie on the internet about their sexual exploits.
  4. Leake perfect through 8.
  5. Mike Leake is perfect through 6 on 55 pitches.
  6. At some point it will become annoying if they don't milk the extra year. Calling him up for 5-6 weeks and punting a year of service time would be dumb. If they wanted him up, right after the AS break was the time.
  7. If they wanted Bichette up it's as simple as optioning Brandon Drury.
  8. Remember when the majority of the forum voted that you get banned? What is it about your personality would you say leads people to prefer that you not post here?
  9. You don’t feel like the team would have had ample time to play those guys if Pillar were here?
  10. I meant with him suggesting that the jays sign a few vets. I haven’t really watched a game since May, but presumably they’re still putrid enough that there was room for a Moustakas, Brantley or Keuchel.
  11. I’m not really seeing the issue.
  12. Well that’s disappointing
  13. Sure they are: they're saving the 5M that they'd be paying Pillar if they had kept him. If the team with like 70M or whatever in salary expenditures had to move 5M out to give Grichuk 5M, we're in real trouble here.
  14. I still think Pillar was moved to save 5M and not to give those guys a chance to play. We had and continue to have whatever the opposite of an OF logjam is. I'm pretty sure our OF is sub-replacement level for the season.
  15. Keep in mind that Jim believes that Pillar is currently a worse player than Alford, McKinney, and Teoscar Hernandez, so his ability to evaluate mediocre OF talent would seem to be highly suspect.
  16. There are 153 qualified hitters this year. Dwight Smith Jr. is dead last in fWAR at -0.7. He can't hit (79 wRC+) or field (-9 DRS, -6.1 UZR). He is a very, very bad baseball player.
  17. Boxy's 4th waiver should go to Boxy for my 3rd waiver for the trade that sent him MiLB 70.
  18. 59 L54 60 The Drunks 61 The Bad Guy 62 Chubs 63 Pendleton
  19. I don't know if Gurriel is good or not, but you need a new pejorative for him. His career BABIP is 0.326, which isn't even that high given that he hits the ball harder than most hitters. It would be like incessantly calling a pitcher some lame play on FIP-beater because he has a 3.5 ERA and 3.6 FIP.
