    Yes. And they almost missed the playoffs this year, and will have a difficult time making them next year. Are you expecting them to be some kind of powerhouse next season?

    Habs will have a hard time making the playoffs next year. I think they're clearly worse than Boston, TB, Florida, and Toronto (as much as I hate to say it). I think they'll be competing with several good Metro teams for the last WC spot.

    Cimber is probably going to stick around for a few years, hopefully as the 6th or 7th best reliever in the bullpen for most of the time. If the acquisition cost was mostly just paying Dickerson for the rest of the season, then this is a nice little move. And Dickerson isn't necessarily a sunk cost RoS either.

    That came together fast. I've been mulling cashing Detmers in for a C for a few weeks now. I'm uncomfortable with this. He's been maybe the best pitcher in AA this year, and has 30K and 3BB over 12 IP his last two starts, and it's his first pro season. He's going to rocket up prospect lists. Locking in C production for the next few years is just too tempting though.

    Damn. I looked quick last night and thought it was the setting below, but it seems that's for pushing IL enforcement to the next week instead of day. Number of Lineup Periods until Injured Reserve Enforcement takes effect
