Baltimore's mismanagement of their OF is hilarious. Two years ago we were talking about their insane depth, now they have: Ward (2.2 projected fWAR) Cowser (1.6) Beavers (1.2) O'Neil (0.8) Taveras (0.4) Kjerstad looks like a complete bust. It's one of the worst OFs in baseball, they're paying like 30M for Ward and O'Neil, and they evaporated 4 years of Gray-Rod to do it. Refusing to move guys like Cowser/Kjerstad and Mayo when they could have been used to land someone like Crochet and then watching all of those guys bust while Crochet puts up CY seasons in Boston should be a fireable offense. Mike Elias is absolutely terrible at his job.

Who "defrocked" you? You're trolling and looking for a reaction, and its stupid and tired. Chief boyscout Ross Atkins is very obviously not going to break the league-wide blackballing for a 35-year old washed Trevor Bauer who just got his tits lit in Japan.

Tatis is a very attractive asset. Superstar talent entering his age-27 season and locked up for 9 more years at a 24.1M lluxury tax hit. Tucker is a couple years older, and you're probably talking like 10M more a year on the tax hit. It's almost impossible to overpay for Tatis in terms of prospect capital.

Kyle Hendricks retiring A bit surprised. He was serviceable this year, and would have been able to land a few million dollars again next year to eat innings as a 5th starter if he wanted to.

The only pitchers with 6.5 WAR this year were Skubal (6.6) and Skenes (6.5).

Seems like a lot of red flags, but we're all just looking at small snippets from Fangraphs.com guys. I'd be pretty excited if the Jays signed him. They have a lot more info than we have.
