Neil Walker for picks 60 and 100 in 2013 I had no use for him because Jedd Gyorko would be manning 2B going forward. f***. Pick 39 for Wade Davis last year Thought Davis would be a quality SP4/5. Ended up dropping him. Picking Brett Lawrie in the 2nd round Not a trade, but easily the worst decision I've made in this league. Decent chance I end up regretting my Harvey/Braun trade too. For the most part I can look over my trade history without regret. I tend to avoid moves with potential to bite me in the ass down the road.

So Marcel Goc is a significantly better player than David Bolland at the same position. Goc gets a year year $1.2 million contract and Bolland gets 5/27.5. The NHL is pathetic and run bu idiots.

Because they're a bad team, and have just spent almost 10% of next year's cap on a 37-year old bottom-4 D and a bottom-6 pest. It's more wheel-spinning. If they had nabbed Vanek, or Moulson, or Stastny and actually improved the team I'd be unhappy, but they haven't actually improved at all.

On this day the Leafs have committed $6 million per year to Komarov and Robidas for the next three years. This pleases me immensely.

Even Chiasson is a very replaceable talent though. Nice player, but he probably tops out at 20 goals and 50 points or so. This is a bad return. The organization is in complete shambles right now.

I don't even really understand where these numbers come from. I mean, at least Clarkson had the 30-goal season. All the evidence suggests that he's just an average 3rd-line type of guy who could maybe, possibly warrant like 3/9 or something. He can chip in 15 goals and 30 points a year with 15 minutes a night and decent linemates, but his possession stats aren't good, he's not a good defensive player, and he doesn't win faceoffs.
