Now Guyer doubles. What a bunch of losers the Jays are. They had a chance to come in to TB and really make a statement, and predictably roll over. No wonder they have the 2nd-longest playoff drought in MLB. Pathetic org.

I haven't missed a Rays game since their inaugural season in 1998. The division title in 2008 was one of the best experiences of my life. I can only hope you guys get to experience that in 9-10 years when the current regime has been replaced.

I guess it's just difficult for me to understand what it's like to have such low expectations. As bad as the Rays have been this year, I've seen them topple the AL East at it's best with multiple elite 90+ win teams. That's success. Rooting for one's team to back into the playoffs with 84 wins is just kind of pathetic. Different strokes I guess.

Crazy how things work out. Jays were 14 games over 0.500, and now they face Price tomorrow with a chance to be a mere 2 games over 0.500. What a precipitous decline!

Of course not. I'm just not sure why you would expect that a guy who's never had an easy time getting MiLB hitters out is going to succeed in the majors this year.

I don't know how you can say this when he hasn't been close to fine in AA or AAA. He's not just going to start mowing people down as a reliever. He has no command. Sanchez has never dominated a level.

Norris, sure. Bring him up. I just don't see how Sanchez is going to stay afloat against major league hitters.

He was great through April and May, then the wheels fell off and have stayed off. One of many True Cardinals that have been bitterly disappointing this season.
