    Drop Quick.
  2. Goddammit Havok, go away already!
  3. RIP Dominique Dunne Yeah, that's fine.
  4. You make a decision on what we discussed? I'm looking forward to getting mocked ITT if it gets posted.
  5. I'm far to cheap to shop in that aisle. Plus, I don't want short blocked for when Bogaerts goes full Tulo next year.
  6. Drew Smyly is going to be kind of awesome when Alex Cobb teaches him The Thing.
  7. Anybody have a shortstop who kinda sucks, but maybe not quite as much as guys available in free agency? I'm a bit scared that Bogaerts got concussed and may need to replace his 0.627 OPS in my lineup on the cheap.
  8. Well, the team's run differential just hit 0.
  9. Hopefully Pat stays away on a permanent basis.
  10. Who's the guy calling the game with Buck? Seems decent.
  11. You anticipated him being below replacement-level?
  12. Not sure I have the expandable assets for him, but you can PM me.
  13. No. An inability to understand where wins come from was his downfall.
  14. Have had discussion with a couple teams on a starter. Might make a move soon. Anyone else have one available?
  15. Damn, I hadn't realized he had been good. For some reason I remembered 1-2 awful lines and saw you bitching and assumed he had sucked.
  16. You probably should have kept Shoemaker and traded me Liriano for a 1st when I offered.
  17. The NHL is basically broken beyond repair. Outside of a few elite teams and a few awful teams, any team can finish anywhere in a given season, and then the playoffs are pretty much just a crapshoot featuring whichever 16 of the 25 or so mostly equal teams that happened to get enough shootout points to qualify. Joke league.
  18. Watching Seattle in the playoffs over Oakland/LAA because Felix Hernandez is a lot better than Jered Weaver is going to be pathetic.
  19. We just see it differently. I like seeing top seeds win.
  20. That's kind of my point. You cheapen an 82 (or 162) game season when you expand the size of the playoff pool. I'd rather see a small amount of teams that have proven that they're elite over a full season than give half the league a chance to go on a run in the playoffs and have mediocre teams winning championships.
  21. I'm pretty scared that they're going to be inclined to go in that direction when they see how even one extra WC spot has increased interest late in the season in multiple cities. Teams like New York, Toronto, Cleveland, and Seattle would be playing out the schedule at this point in past, but are now in the thick of a playoff chase. That's a quarter of the league! I hope it stops here though. The NHL has turned itself into an absolute farce trying to maximize revenues across the league until the season is over.
