  1. So after trading Salazar for Belt before the season... I might be looking to move Belt for a starter again. He's had two freak injuries this year (hit in the hand, and hit in the mellon), but both Steamer and ZiPS have him as a 125+ wRC+ guy, and he's just 26 years old. I'm looking for a pretty good young starter here.
  2. Yeah, Valencia is good at a few things that could make him useful. He can be Lind's platoon partner at DH/1B, and he can be part of a 3B platoon if Lawrie plays 2B or gets injured, and he can play 1B. A competent team can probably squeeze a win out of him if he's used properly.
  3. Felix and Kuma combining for like 12 wins this year goes a loooong way, especially with Young having one of the luckiest seasons ever.
  4. Sheeeeit, GD throwing down the hammer.
  5. It's sad because I'm pretty sure they were friends IRL before a falling out over fantasy baseball.
  6. They're winning in spite of him. There are only 4 players on the team that are league-average or better, and one was inherited while another signed a $240 million contract.
  7. Mariners extend Jack Z lol.
  8. So everything has been processed correctly now, right?
  9. I have a hard time seeing Marisnick as a fantasy-relevant guy, but Harvey and Taveras are nice building blocks who should be full-time contributors next year. It's going to be very interesting to see if turning Rendon into Taveras was a wise decision.
  10. Boxy is probaby a lock for 20th next year too, but he could make some noise and challenge for 15th or so by 2016 IMO.
  11. Felix could move for a studly bat.
  12. It would be the right thing to do. Missing the DDL playoffs in two consecutive seasons would be shameful.
  13. Yeah, but at least this means that Reimold likely won't be tendered a contract in the offseason. He's replacement-level and out of options, so $1.5 million or whatever he'd earn next year would have been money poorly spent. At least Pillar can be optioned next year and will make close to the minimum.
  14. Excellent. Reimold is awful.
  15. Wat. Hasn't his cutter always been his bread and butter?
  16. I really hope Reimold is non tendered. There's no way this guy should be making $1.5 million next year, or whatever he'll get via arb.
  17. IMO your roster was clearly top-5 for most of the season, and the power ranking reflect that.
  18. Ouch. It is absolutely insane that you might miss the playoffs.
  19. Yeah, but Steamer and ZiPS think he's a sub-2 K/BB guy with an ERA in the 3.95-4.15 range. I dunno, I just really hate Trevor Cahill. I picked him up while drunk at 2:30 AM two weeks ago, watched him and his fat gut sweat through two starts while waging war on my K/BB, and then decided to replace him.
  20. Well you just threw up a Doug Fister comp dumnass.
  21. You like him more than I do. I really can't abide guys who struggle to put up 2 K/BB.
