He's pretty much the definition of someone who's hard to deal with. When you can't even discuss ideas with someone who doesn't agree with you, you're hard to deal with. -

I don't think there's any chance they decline that option. One of Davis/Holland will be traded.

I really hope guys like that on small contracts are how they fill out the pen. As things stand, it's Cecil, Loup and maybe Sanchez. They're going to be adding multiple major league arms this offseason and I hope they don't invest heavily.

Crain, Neshek, Gregerson, Hochevar, Fujikawa and Adams are all interesting to some degree.

Who knows? Maybe asking a 1-inning guy to throw 46 and 47 pitches in outings had an impact. I mean, there must be a reason why none of Janssen, Santos, Delabar, McGowan, or Cecil have thrown more than 31, right? Or maybe it has nothing to do with it.
