Would be one of the best #5 hole hitting platoons in the game. Plus Hart would get plenty of games in the OF as a primary backup in RF and LF and would be the primary bat off the bench. Should easily get almost regular playing time when injuries are thrown into the mix.
Yup, it would be a perfect platoon and Hart would also get a bit of time in LF. A move like this would make our lineup much deeper and it likely won't cost anything too significant.
Did it occur to you that the failed physical may have crippled his value? It's all speculation anyways, but if your going to criticize AA on what you think happened at least use some rational thinking.
Not too upset about this. We need someone with a better health track record anyways. Two Brandon Morrows in the same rotation is like walking on glass every other night.
Numbers look excellent. Would want to learn more about him though if he is going to be posted. Could be an intriguing options if his AAV is going to be reasonable considering there is zero hype about this guy.
Depends on what it would cost, but we need a 2/3 type more right now, unless we're talking about getting two SP. I really don't know anything about this SP though.
Also, the Rockies are pushing hard to trade for a late innings RP. We have plenty to choose from.

AA's comments regarding Fister indicate Dombrowski had a hard-on for one or more of the players he traded him for. Sometimes when people get tunnel vision there is no coming back.
