    AA won't shy away from that. If the price is right, go for it. But no f***ing way Rasmus should be a part of that deal unless we're getting Bailey as well.

    Yeah that's true. It amazes me when I see people who make more than I do, yet have incredible amounts of debt. Most people live beyond their means. It's amazing on how much less you can get by on if you actually budget things out. Oh well, their problem, not mine.

    Yeah no one really knows, but its just frustrating seeing most of the other teams in the league having made a few moves already and the only noteworthy move AA has made thus far is Navarro. This team is literally f***ed if AA doesn't do something.

    Lets face it, its probably a very strong chance Goins/Izturis is our 2B in 2014. Haven't heard anything about any 2B linked to the Jays.

    But Phillips likely costs us Rasmus, since Cincy was asking for Gardener. Not to mention that Phillips would likely want to renegotiate his contract for more money if the rumours are true.

    Without a doubt. That's a legit ace and it makes our rotation so much better where Dickey becomes #2 in terms of talent. Not a bad 1-2 punch at all.

    It's a tough pill to swallow, but if your going for it then a Hamels makes sense. He is still in his prime and although it's big money, he should be solid for several more seasons.

    Infante should be AA's #1 priority right now. Makes this team better both offensively and defensively over Izzy.

    Phillips at 12.5 isn't a concern for me. I think he still has at least 2 more solid seasons in him and probably 2 more mediocre ones. It really comes down to what is required via trade and I'm thinking AA doesn't like what the Reds are asking for one bit. They asked the Yankees for Gardener, so it seems reasonable they would want Rasmus from the Jays and I wouldn't do that.

    Started Monday actually, Dec 9th. That's why I was thinking it ends tomorrow. Looked it up and it ends tomorrow the 12th. Usually a lot of the GM's take off early on the last day if I remember correctly, so it's starting to look like AA may come out without anything. Sigh....hopefully he at least has so something brewing.
