  1. I want a big fish too I just still see Lamahieu and Realmuto staying where they are and Springer to the Mets. I'd love to be wrong though
  2. Everyone now saying spring training and the regular season are going to start on time Hopefully it works out that way
  3. Thats perhaps a specific case. If rhe NL gets the DH again then the Braves prob resign him immediately They may even have a gentelmans agreement in place
  4. Can't blame him for picking rhe Padres if the offers were equal Shrug
  5. Yes Just no recorded game stats to look at So no idea where they had Martin practicing
  6. The lack of a minor league season is a problem Does he play mostly IF or CF this year if there is a minor league season? So far in college he's played more 3B/SS/2B than OF
  7. Just need to invest in a TV and some new trash cans for Roger's Centre Jk FWIW he seemed to be one of the ones who didn't really benefit from the cheating. Springer actually hit better on the road in 2017 and 2019 than he did at home)
  8. We need someone There's not a single outfielder in our top 10 prospects and none of our present guys should really be playing center if possible
  9. Angels crying damn
  10. JBJ not much different really But he just costs $$ and probably less than KK is making He should def be plan B
  11. 1.5 WAR player at best now and every year wRC+ mostly under 90 Its been 3 years since he's been really good
  12. AA had a strict policy against incentive filled contracts and against deals over 5 years I don't think the current front office does
  13. I'm at the point i feel we need either Springer's or LeMahieu's bat in the lineup Because I don't see us acquiring a front line starter anymore this off season
  14. Yeah You don't get 26-28 year old injury-free impact star players hitting free agency very often. Though there have been a couple recently. Amd they cost 1/3 of a billion dollars.
  15. Slugger Eric Thames is in agreement on a one-year deal with the Yomiuri Giants of Japan’s Nippon Professional Baseball, as first reported by Sports Hochi. Reports out of Japan have pegged the one-year contract’s value in the vicinity of $1.2MM, though the precise number remains unclear
  16. That's not *enough* better Get Didi or Turner (if we don't trade for a better SS and move Bo to 3B)
  17. Meh Hopefully not
  18. Arbitration projections have him likely to get 18.6M for next year. Not many teams want to add that. So yes the cost in trade should be low. You could PROBABLY even get the Cubs to take a smaller contract you don't want, or have them pay part of his salary, to go along with giving them a prospect that they do want. And if he's good next year you probably make him a QO and collect a draft pick. With all that in mind I think they probably just keep him though
  19. Bo >>>> Vlad at 3B Lindor/Simmons >> Bo at SS I get it from their point of view I would still jjst rather sign someone else for 3B and CF. But if the free agents you want won't sign you have to look to trades
  20. Now Smoak is going to Japan Getting over 6M Wow. Would he have even got a major league deal worth a third of that here at this point?
  21. Turner would be fantastic The Dodgers won't be idle though with SD going HAM Maybe they feel the need to trade for Arenado now and let Turner walk
  22. For some reason this post made me miss Kobe
