  1. Agreed I susoect we'll get someone to fill out the top 3 with Ryu and Pearson and rely on these 3 to fill the back end
  2. At least one of Ray/Roasrk/Stripling should have a bounce back year
  3. A shorter season but with fewer off days and more double headers to keep the game count up would definitely increase the strain on pitching and require larger rosters and more frequent use of 6 person rotations
  4. Not sure But NBA and NHL are both going to play fewer games this year They had the playoffs months later than usual so they don't have much choice I suppose Baseball OTOH started late but ended close to the usual time
  5. If they cram in 162 games I bet a lot of teams frequently use a 6th starter That said I tjink a 162 game season is unlikely
  6. So guys dance after hitting doubles in the DWL? Lol
  7. Kim A CF A front line starter Let's rock
  8. As a New Brunswicker and lifelong Jays fan this means a lot to me. LOL
  9. He's been a vocal complainer his whole career. He was complaining about his salary in Pittsburgh long before he finally started living up to his potential. He can't complain about his salary any more LOL. He started a brawl one time. He complains about teams who aren't trying to win. He complains to Boone and the Yankees pitching coach when he's pulled from.games sometimes but that's not always a bad sign it sometimes just means competitiveness. Ovetall not sure how he is to deal with as a teammate.
  10. Every caller to Mike Wilner that night thought they had found another Bautista/Encarnacion
  11. Not till you mentioned it Nice
  12. The Angels have signed left-hander Alex Claudio to a one-year deal worth $1.125MM, the club announced. Claudio hit the open market after he was non-tendered by the Brewers earlier this month. He pitched mediocerly in a league leading 83 games in 2019
  13. There's fat, and then there's ex-Blue Jay Juan Francisco fat...
  14. Several notable players have surpassed the threshold for Super Two status, earning them an extra year of arbitration eligibility. According to The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal (Twitter link), the following players have all gained a fourth arbitration year: Walker Buehler, Clint Frazier, Max Fried, Dominic Smith, Mike Soroka, Juan Soto, Gleyber Torres, Luke Voit, and Brandon Woodruff. Other players who should qualify include J.D. Davis (as Tim Britton of The Athletic notes via Twitter) and Austin Slater (as per MLB Network’s Jon Heyman).
  15. It probably makes them the second best team in the NL but Dodgers are still better

  17. I really want the Jays to make one impactful signing or trade soon so that we can see the overall plan start to unfold and know that we've added at least one substantial piece
  18. First Pornhub removes over 60% of their videos and now this!
  19. FFS May? Fewer games or more double headers?
  20. Blue Jays Sign Tyler White, Forrest Wall To Minors ContractsDecember 15th, 2020 at 11:17am CST • By Mark Polishuk The Blue Jays have signed first baseman Tyler White and outfielder Forrest Wall to minor league contracts, according to FanSided’s Robert Murray (Twitter link). Both players have been invited to Toronto’s big league Spring Training camp.
  21. If they don't re sign Tanaka then I'm even more worried about his elbow
  22. It's worth noting that none of the top free agents this year (Springer Bauer, Realmuto) are Scott Boras clients
  23. I really hope so
