    So far Defense big part of the problem Lind needs a platoon partner Bench needs to be upgraded - having Goins, DeRosa, Gose and a backup catcher is not good enough Not enough SP depth in 2013 Gibbons not the problem Most of the same stuff we've been saying

    Of course if depends on the market and availability too Trade for a 2 WAR 2B because there's none available via free agency and you can't afford Cano? Fine. Trade for a 2 WAR catcher this off season? Ridiculous, because you can sign a really good one for $$ and not even lose a first round pick for the best ones.

    That's the irony of it isn't it? He never would have given Jose Reyes that contract as a free agent 2 off seasons ago. But last off season he trades assets to acquire him with that contract.
