    Aren't they receiving significantly more money from revenue sharing than they are paying in salary even before this trade? At this point to not include salary to get better prospects is pretty much unforgivable for them imo.

    We would have lost some from rule 5 if they weren't traded for someone anyhow. A prime guy in return *usually* takes prime prospects in the package, not a bunch of mediocre ones. Same with the Marlins trade (and we STILL have 40 man problems, regardless of how they were created). For me personally the ONLY guy I'm really upset about losing is Syndergaard, and his hype probably exceeds his realistic future upside unless those secondary pitches take a big step forward.

    Here's an interesting Sportsnet article on DMac and starting.     I really doubt he'll sue. It would mean a whole lot of attention over the steroid stuff that Zaun would probably rather everyone forget (whether he's guilty or not). The bad press could put his job in jeopardy too. He really has absolutely nothing to gain and everything to lose.

    The hats are nothing to do with Rogers. Some company designed them for all MLB teams for 4th of July. I don't think teams had any input or say over them. Looking at how horrible they are, probably the same company that designed the camo unis and hats a while ago.
