If his wife wants to do movies and things like that, they shoot a lot of them in BC as well which would add to the appeal of Seattle for him. As for the scouting reports, most of what I've seen has suggested a fastball more in the 91-93 range, but he can reach back for a little extra from time to time. I don't recall seeing anything about him sitting in the mid 90's or higher. -
Several of their pitchers seem suspicious to me too. Regardless, it appears that A-Rod wants to try to take everyone with him. He's going to get years worth of lawsuits thrown at him if he isn't careful.

I remember going to Quebec when I was a kid. The police were on strike, and were standing with picket signs in the parking lot of a donut shop (I'm not kidding). Wish I had a picture of it! Everyone seemed pretty friendly overall, although that wasn't Montreal. -
Lol, go Spanky! On the plus side, you probably have significantly better odds of that happening than winning a similar amount in other forms of lottery.

Probably the right decision too, or it might have given other prospects close to the majors the idea that they could also get added to the 40 man if they took the wrong supplement. Also gave a pretty nice wake up call to all prospects to watch what they take. Well worth the 50 games from those points of view. How AA has handled Stroman with the 40 man has been very good imo. Too bad he didn't do the same with Nolin, as that was one spot we didn't need to take up yet.
