The Phillies probably win in that they'll likely get better use of Hays than the O's will of Dominguez (I assume he'll take over LF with Marsh moving to CF). Dominguez wasn't getting high leverage opportunities with the Phillies. I'm not sure why he would fill a meaningful role with the O's. Pache is probably pointless. They'd have been better off paying $1M or so and getting Kiermaier who can at least steal a base along with the defense.
There's a good chance his problems at the plate are related to the injury and his unwillingness to miss games and deal with it before it became a bigger problem.
The bats have looked a little better since they seem to have abandoned the hitting approach from earlier in the year. Guys are starting to actually hit the ball with some authority. It wouldn't surprise me.
Kudos if it's true. Pretty creative way to avoid a PR disaster for her career if it isn't. Either way, it appears she handled it fairly well (after the fact).
I'm glad we didn't pay him what he got, but he hasn't really been bad. He's been comfortably above average with no real warning flags. He's just overpaid.
