  1. Loup has a 2.78 xFIP and a 2.37 SIERRA. He's been hurt mostly by an unsustainable 23% HR/FB ratio (a little babip bad luck too, which probably amplifies the damage). His strikeout rate, walk rate, etc are all fantastic. Now maybe he's grooving an unusual number of pitches to result in the home runs, I don't know. Overall though, he's been one of our best pitchers in terms of analytics.
  2. No kidding. He's been dominating down there lately too.
  3. I need Lazar, Grigorenko, and Anton Forsberg added (Lazar and Forsberg don't appear to be in the database though), and Gardiner removed.
  4. I think it's 5 starts or 10 games for batters, 3 starts or 5 relief for pitchers.
  5. Set it as a keeper league, and we should be able to indicate our keeper players in Yahoo.
  6. I'd say make the call AND set the date. It's not like it's a change that's going to break the league, or be unfair to anyone.
  7. If he doesn't make his own cuts, it's probably safe to assume he'd be okay with it being postponed a week.
  8. To Abomination: Grigorenko To GD-Dinger: Waiver 63. Instructions in trade thread on who to bold, remove bold from.
  9. Cody Eakin is available if someone has something interesting in mind.
  10. I would suggest not including the names in the graphs that are cluttered, just the data points. Only include the names for the Jays players (make the Jays data points a different color too). That will make the graphs much easier to see, and make the information you're trying to convey stick out. In your first graph, there's no need to start at 0. Start the graph at 3 xFIP.

  12. If not, it's pretty obvious by the batter not shaking out his hand.
  13. One or two platoon guys really isn't a big deal assuming it's a left handed batter. Choo has a 134 wRC+ on the season vs righties.
  14. Did the "intelligent Mexican" just say that the dogg was a great poster?
  15. He has a 19 wRC+ in the second half of the season too. Yeah, that number isn't missing a digit either.
  16. Jokes aside, he as a pretty sweet walk rate since the ASB.
  17. His baseball intelligence didn't allow him to take advantage of his talent, and he did have talent.
  18. I guess I'd prefer that the steroids. Hopefully it's something like Adderall.
  19. People tend to love images more than lists of numbers. Maybe consider converting some of the lists into charts and heat graphs (the first list and the fangraphs chart could probably be combined into one, since the data is somewhat related for example).
  20. To jays_fever: Gardiner + waiver 14 + waiver 36 To abomination: waiver 13 + waiver 33
  21. My keepers are tentatively Johansen, Forsberg, Huberdeau, Wheeler, Strome, Nichushkin, Lazar, Hayes, Eakin, Byfuglien, Vatanen, Dumba, Halak, Smith, Forsberg. If anyone wants any of the other guys (Bonino, Atkinson, Gardiner, etc), let me know. Not asking a lot.
  22. The old board was 10x worse, if not more.
  23. Stop mass spamming for votes by PM too.
