  1. I had to modify mine because of that too.
  2. Steamer projects him as a sub 4 FIP in the majors right now (assuming he was able). The BAT (for whatever it's worth) projects him mid 3.5's.
  3. Why, because of his age? His results have been very good. Also he apparently revamped his delivery in 2016, and is now sitting mid 90s with the ability to reach back for more, average or better secondary stuff. Knocks against him seem to be a fastball that lacks life.
  4. https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/gamefeed?game_pk=531446&type=exit_velocity&chart_view=pitch&chart_type=sbp&inning=&count=&batter_hand=&pitcher_hand=&filter= 106.4 mph, 411 feet.
  5. That pretty much guarantees it won't happen.
  6. It pretty much has to be Merryweather or Anderson. I still think it'll be Anderson, but I'd prefer Merryweather so I hope I'm wrong.
  7. That home run was a big DFS swing for me Regardless of the home run though, Norris has looked great.
  8. Nope, not yet.
  9. If we call him up, we'd better replace our broadcast team first.
  10. Neither do I. The ARI - LA game could be interesting though, considering the train wreck Kenley has been the last few games and the fact he's facing the heart of the order (assuming he comes in).
  11. IF it's permitted, which I have doubts about, I'd assume you'd say it'll be x player if Donaldson plays x number of games, y player if he plays y number of games, etc.
  12. There's suggestions that the return will depend on Donaldson's health, and will be decided by Jan 30th. Not sure if the former is permitted or not, but the date for the latter seems reasonable.
  13. I believe they can. I think the team receiving the player has 6 months to decide who it is.
  14. I'm nearly positive it'll be Cody Anderson, who was probably never passed through waivers.
  15. I could see it being Cody Anderson. Cleveland is going to have to activate him before the end of the year I think, and he wouldn't make their playoff roster.
  16. It should have originally been Happ and Smoak for Bird imo.
  17. It's possible some of the teams have a firm payroll threshold that they're already at, and are concerned that we will dump Donaldson for nothing if an agreement isn't worked out. If we have already decided we're not offering him the QO, then that could be a legit concern.
  18. This part is wrong. Science should always be debated and questioned, it's how we advance our knowledge. Consensus doesn't change that. The problem is when you have people who push contrarian views not because they have facts to back it up, but because they, for whatever reason, don't want to or are incapable of accepting the results - and feel the need to force everyone else not to either.
  19. That certainly helps explain the rumors about no QO, and the desperation to trade him.
  20. Yeah, looks like he's right. Possibly explains Giles and the defensive issues last inning too.
  21. Giles needs to never see a non-save situation again lol.
  22. You could probably add both of them together and get their brother lol.
  23. I think Molina would give him a run for his money.
  24. Pretty sure most of us didn't think that.
