There's no excuse for Davis either. Cut him and you just lose the money. Keep him, and you lose on-field performance as well as the money. The only possible reason to keep him around is to intentionally tank. -

Law has a very specific type of prospect that he likes, and anything else is trash. His inflexibility would likely make him a liability in a front office, but it never hurts to read alternative views in prospect lists and things like that. -
Right. Of course the guy who couldn't stay healthy in a non-contact sport should have chosen one where he gets blasted several times a day.

Yesterday was a really impressive day for basketball. Doncic becomes the first player in NBA history to put up 43+ points, 17+ rebounds, and 13+ assists in a playoff game. The only time it had ever been done before was in a regular season game - by Wilt Chamberlain. Oh, and he did it on a bad ankle, while hitting the game winning shot. Raptors shatter the NBA record for bench scoring, putting up 100 points. Mitchell and Murray become the first opponents to score 50+ points each in the same playoff game. Mitchell becomes the 3rd person in playoff history to have two 50 point performances in a series, joining Jordan and Iverson.

I'm fine with this if it means an end of Drury. It is a weird fit. I wonder if they may shop Tellez at the deadline?

Pretty sure we just obliterated the NBA record for bench scoring in a game, let alone a playoff one.

Not so many years ago and 77-68 would be a final score. I bet Brooklyn is going to get a very uncomfortable half-time speech.

Not really sure on Lowry. We'll probably never know either. Yeah, I'll be watching. I haven't followed much the last year or so, but am watching the playoffs.

Yeah. I noticed that too. He needs to be assuming the runner is going, not looking before deciding to throw. He really is a terrible fielder. -

It makes me happy. If we do make the playoffs, I really want him on the roster for late inning defense and pinch running (unless we get someone equivalent with a better bat). -
I don't really see a big deal with letting him play short and moving Bo to 2nd for a month. Wouldn't want to do that longer term, but in a rental situation it's fine.

The bat sucks, but Billy Hamilton would really stabilize the outfield defense. Put Teoscar at DH, and things start to look pretty decent out there defensively.
