    Wouldn't mind someone like Floro from the Dodgers, although they probably don't want Reese (unless another injury hits). Trivino from the A's maybe? Hunter Wood from the Indians? I can't see us getting an elite young arm for Reese, but maybe we can get someone to stabilize the pen for the next 4 years.

    Seriously. He's been in the league for parts of 6 years now, and has put up negative WAR in 4 of them.

    Huh. Not sure I'm a fan of Alford being designated. With the abbreviated season and additional roster size, he has some real value as a pinch runner.

    They're arguably not even the worst staff this year. I'd have to think the O's staff last year was probably the worst in a long time. That might be challenged this year.

    Yeah. I don't get it either. The only thing I can think of is they're hoping for a hot streak to be able to sell him for something small at the deadline.

    Verdugo just stole 3rd base with 2 outs and the tying run at the plate. He made it, but it seems fundamentals are lacking around baseball right now.

    IMO we need to get back to using Font as an opener for once through the order, and then bring in Borucki for the same. Let them go every 3rd day (pushed back if that falls on a Pearson or Ryu start). Do the same with Yamaguchi and Kay.
