It would be interesting if they got a second QB. They could both line up for the snaps and Lemar could serve as both a QB and running back as needed, the new guy mostly for passing.
My all-day lineup is doing pretty good.
Allen, Jones, McKissic, Woods, Diggs, Beasley, Gronk, Kupp, Rams. 118 points with 3 guys to go.
CPT: Jones, Brady, Godwin, Evans, Thomas, Sims in the showdown tonight. Not sure about this one.
You're talking about a deal that's like 7/260 if you assume he gets 60M in arbitration (it might be a little more). I really don't see that as value that they should jump on now rather than 2 years from now when they have more information on him. I can't see a deal 2 years from now being considerably more per year than 37 or 38M.
Roark's profile has changed the last few years. His ground ball rate has plummeted (and is continuing to do so). I think someone who puts up an xFIP in the upper 4's is probably what we'll get from him, and that's probably no different from what Shun will provide in the same usage scenario now that he's had a year to adjust to the ball. I think Shun has a little higher upside though, if he can get ahead and start using that splitter as a proper weapon. The ideal scenario would be neither.
