  1. did you know that every time someone says "Roll Tide" Bama claims another ******** national title? true story
  2. Yep I think I only remember a few times where I didn't watch a celebration of a major championship. Exceptions probably being Alabama Football National Championships, and Kentucky Basketball. Cowboys football too
  3. http://cdn.abclocal.go.com/content/creativecontent/images/cms/369406_1280x720.jpg
  4. Pretty sure Bochy proved that twice already
  5. they are like 45 games over .500 in the 175 games he's led off. Honestly as stupid as it was to put him there, it would at this point be even more stupid to move him from there.
  6. I thought he handled himself incredibly well when Bautista stated that he lost all respect for Yost as a person.
  7. I find him to be really likable really. He just f***s with so much that I believe in.
  8. that managers make zero positive difference.
  9. Destiny is no longer just the cheapest hooker in Missouri.
  10. yet every team let him slide through the first 7 rounds.
  11. okay then look at traditional stats for the two...on the road. It's not even close. Slash line Trout - .316/.400/.623 JD - .263/.343/.487 Counting stats 2B/HR/RBI Trout - 20/21/53 JD - 16/17/54 I'm not looking to take away from JD's season, I'm good with him being MVP, but much of the numbers are highly inflated by the RC. But if this was an award for the best offensive player...Trout wins hands down.
  12. Different dumn voters though. 2015 HANK AARON AWARD Your (meaning fan votes) votes for the 2015 Hank Aaron Award, given to the top offensive player in each League, will be counted alongside those of a special panel of Hall of Famers. The panel, led by Hank Aaron, includes some of the greatest offensive players of all-time: Hall of Famers Roberto Alomar, Johnny Bench, Craig Biggio, Eddie Murray, Frank Thomas and Robin Yount, all personally chosen by Aaron to help select the winners. Voting ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, Oct. 11. The Awards will be presented during the World Series.
  13. I'd like to add one more. He had what was called one of the cushiest GM jobs in the game as no matter what he did, Rogers took the blame.
  14. Speaking of Park factors. http://www.milb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20151023&content_id=155266172&fext=.jsp&vkey=toolshed&sid=l117 Charlotte with a 2.00 HR Park Factor (1.798 three year). That can't be right can it? Either way makes Erik Johnson's pitching stats look pretty good. Drabek with a 53/84 BB/K
  15. I like Brinson but his AA were the only ones in a normal park environment. His SSS against LHP is pretty insane (.458/.557/.857). That said I'm more intrigued by AJ Reed, although I've still never actually seen either play.
  16. More fuel for the Bill Simmons HBO show. I hope HBO hires all the writers and creates a sports division.
  17. Your rivalry is supposed to be King. Leave the Arab vs. Jew fights to those with a much lower intellect (Militia and politicians)
  18. GD wins based on geography alone. #TeamGD
  19. Why do I keep getting asked this question?
  20. SportsInteraction has bet limits set pretty low.
  21. Johnny Mac on the radio today saying that he wants to start managing. When asked who was his ultimate favourite manager from his playing days...he said John Gibbons.
  22. both DRS and UZR rely on hit location data, the difference being the one year +/- system rather than years of data about the difficulty of the play. More often than not they are going to be in agreement with each other. I can understand using UZR/150 but I can also understand giving a nod to a guy that played 160 games, compared to 110. Hardy is the better defender, and if he were there I'd have no issue with Hardy being there. Lindor is the future at AL SS on the defensive side, with the two other great young SS being probably average on the defensive side.
  23. If the BlueJays were smart they'd save themselves some interview time and just watch this board for a while. They could find 100's of candidates...and by that I mean 4.
