    You know you watched and loved The OC, Party of Five and 90210. Fox has a great history of cancelling their best shows way too early (Herman's Head, Brisco County, Firefly, Arrested Development come to mind)

    Yep he's hired 2 members of the IMG sport Psych team. I just found out by fluke as I've kept in touch with them since my study abroad down there. There will be a Dunedin mental conditioning team and a 3rd person hired in Toronto. He's also asked the Rays for permission to speak to one of their staff

    how come you give AA a pass but don't give me credit for saying that JJ would provide zero value for the Jays. I actually don't want any credit (nor have I ever seen you discredit me), but a simpleton like me pointed out a bunch of red flags with JJ (admittedly I look for red flags a lot) professional baseball people could have seen these.

    He was 10th best this year (yes 2nd best in 14, and best in 13...but still behind Hech who played the same amount of games this year). Keep in mind that when Reyes was acquired it was said that we got "one of the best shortstops in baseball".

    I don't know, I doubt at all. But he's a farmboy. He lives well outside the city and leaves the minute the season is over and returns to his population 700 Wisconsin hometown. Only one Nat (Stammen) attended his wedding) This is stuff I get off of Google and I know that AA has his interns collecting this kind of info. I just don't think AA will think he's a fit

    I don't mind this quote when talking about current Jays. I'll just never believe that you can bring in chemistry. Also would like to note that anyone hoping for Zimmerman can now forget about it. That Washington Clubhouse was a mess and I can see AA avoiding it 100%. Speaking of...how in the hell does Rizzo still have a job?

    haven't the guys shipped out-WAR'd the guys coming in by a solid amount now at a much cheaper cost...and several more years of control I think it ends up as a $120M value lost deal by the end. That's pretty bad.

    Theo has it on lockdown after he was ripped off in his Boston years. Alderson would likely be the runner up. AA and Luhnow will likely be really close in the voting.

    Yes I'm not sure that there are any non-Rogers ads. Rogers benefits from a lot more than just ad revenue (people that upgrade their packages to get all the Jays games included). But deep down the Jays are a minuscule part of Rogers overall business. Some read that as "well then they shouldn't care if they spend more on it", or the real way to read it is...those that are responsible for it, want to run it as fiscally responsible as possible, for their own job security.
