Fair argument. But coming off a great season or not Dickey was like 39 (I think) at the time. And we were talking about two great prospects. I think there were better trades that either could have been made a year earlier, or later if he sat and waited. I think AA got the go ahead to build a winner and he JP'd it. Remember when JP got some money, he went and blew it as fast as he could on whoever he could. I think AA did the same thing. He has made some great moves, I give him credit, and he has done a great job drafting as well, for the most part. I think assistant GM might be a better role though. He has some great ideas, but seems like he needs someone to 'overlook' these decisions.
