Who said they prefer when managers keep guys in their known roles during the playoffs?  I understood your side of it, but man it's fun to watch guys do things you've never seen them to before and dominant.

Ashby for 3, Diaz for 3.  Empty the tank boys!

I think the convo came up after the Padres Miller blown save trying to get 2 innings from him.

sometimes it works sometimes it dont. Dodgers had many chances against Ashby and arguably should’ve scored.

That being said, playoffs is all about playing the hot hand, and that’s what won the Dodgers the WS last year

F*ck does baseball do this wrong.  Don't give the trophy to and interview the Owner first.  Give the trophy to Yelich and the team first.  Listen to Owner after several players have spoken.

Hockey does it right.

Yeah - agree.  It's just so fun when they do it and it works out.  It's the type of thing that creates legendary moments we remember for a long time.

This Brewers team is fun and easy to root for. The crowd pops in Milwaukee for the World Series should be epic.

There’s going to be a lot of talk about a salary cap in the coming months but there’s something romantic about baseball when stuff like this happens. No other sport has this level of disparity in payroll so they’ll never get the true David vs Goliath moments like this. A well run small market/payroll team taking down a monster with FU money is more fun than if there was a cap and both teams were spending the same amount on players.

Just as most of us wanted, the Brewers got their moment and hopefully finish it off.

I hope the Guardians make it through, at least their fans show up for the postseason.  Although, could a World Series with a 3/4 full stadium in Tampa mark the final dagger on their future?

Nope they’ll still build a new stadium because that state is a billionaire’s wet dream of a tax haven. And then in 10 years they’ll float the discussion of relocating the Marlins.

Yeah I find everything about the Guardians incredibly boring, but at least their fans will sell out World Series games. I don't think there's a fanbase and stadium in baseball that deserves a World Series appearance less than the Rays fanbase and the Trop respectively.

I agree with this.  The possibility of JRam winning the World Series is growing on me and I think Gavin Williams is a beast.
