Yeah Fisher tonight and the parade of scrubs last night is certainly a decision. The Guardians had Austin Hedges pitching in the 9th. I don't think you needed to use anyone of leverage here John, but JS is JS.

I also wonder about the love that Fisher gets, he's not a high leverage arm by any means.

Damn, didn't realize he's been this bad for months. I'd still rather have him on the mound than Spaghetti, Mantiply, Lorenzen, etc, but clearly isn't in the Miles-Flu-Rogers-Varland tier.

So given the circumstances you think Bateman swinging 2-0 at a borderline strike was ok? I didn't think I had to explain the circumstance in detail. If someone isn't watching the game or following online, don't be so quick to comment. That's the only reason I can come up with on why someone would respond to my post being dumb because everyone who is watching the game including yourself seems to agree that it wasn't smart.

Massive game tomorrow. The difference between being 2.5 GB and .5 GB. Hopefully we get the good version of Soriano and the offense can cook again like tonight. Pretty much all the woes of the Season can be erased if this team can sneak into the playoffs and Vlad has a strong September. Like what really more could we ask for at this point. The American League is utterly terrible and anything could happen in the playoffs.
