Wow color me surprised a certain somebody is doing his typical surface level evaluation. Lauer has produced a 4.41 xERA/5.22 FIP/4.97 xFIP/0.0 FWAR to go along with a .165 BABIP and 95% strand rate. The ERA is nice but it's far from earned, and Lauer has been enjoying incredibly good fortune on batted balls in play and he's a prime candidate for regression in time.

So is it Schneider or in consultation with Atkins regarding the lineup?  I'm not talking about the nonsense of batting Vladdy 8th or 9th. I am talking about Springer moving to the outfield and outbound leadoff. I am talking about BV getting more reps.  Perhaps moving Clement and Pinango up in the order.

I believe Sanchez could give him a run for his money. It appears as though Pinango is a lot more comfortable in right field vs being horrible in left, and it's the reverse for Sanchez as he's been a lot better in left field with right field being disaster level.

Think he took the team pinching him during his Arb case when he was a pretty damn great teammate last year.  He had a right to feel some sort of way but his play didnt back that up early this season.

So weird… LF/RF should play exactly the same minus the need for more arm in RF.

Gotta wonder if that’s just SSS noise.

Or maybe has to do with where they’ve played, eg: Fenway RF being a bottomless pit and Yankee stadium LF being large

Sure Bo Bichette tried but he didn’t deliver a championship.  Maybe if he wasn’t faking a knee injury for 2 months, the rest of our team would have been in better shape to close out game 6 or 7 in the World Series.

I know it's coming and it will probably kill the season for me. This home stand really had promise but it's been a disaster.
