I do think Vlad should have been moved down the order a month ago and told to work on his plate approach. 

I do believe that the highest paid player sets the culture, and players seeing him not have to be accountable for his approach makes them looser.

Hindsight is 20/20 we all were expecting the Jays to have a 2025 type year.Unfortunately injuries happened and our 500 million Dollar superstar forgot how to play baseball.Plus everyone else regressing all at the same time especially Springer.Pitching has been mostly solid this year its what kept us in it till this point.

Well, I think you could criticize the GM/Pres.  They have had 1 great year, 2 good and the rest s*** in their tenure.    

2016 they did a good job.   Well all they did was sign J.A. Happ but that move got them back into the playoffs.  Otherwise kept the team functional and operating well. 

2017/2018/2019 bad

2020/2021/2022/2023 good

2024 bad

2025 excellent

2026 disappointing

I would break it down into ‘I don’t believe in this front office because they can’t develop pitching’ and now ‘I think they probably can’. 

Now, I’m finally in the second camp and I like their previous drafts, it would be bad time to get hasty with the front office.
