The Cubs have a lot of hitters with a long history of crushing Corbin (seven have an OPS over .800 against him). Let's hope this one doesn't get ugly.

Missed yesterday's game (thankfully) but someone wanna tell me why Rogers threw 28 pitches in a blowout?  Is this the masterclass some people here are speaking about? Lol

Not sure they had anyone else. Rogers at least has a rubber arm, but yeah wasted him in yesterday's game. Maybe SWR but he threw 55 pitches on Wednesday. Or should have went longer with Miles.

Wasn't expecting Gausman to only pitch 2 innings. At least if he went 4 or 5, likely wouldn't have used Rogers.

It’s honestly inexplicable. It was a ridiculous decision.

I usually hate manager bullpen discourse because news flash they have to use all the relievers, but in this case there really was absolutely no reason not to use a position player.

The second absolutely no logic decision in a couple of weeks is worrying

Should have let Little die out there or maybe use Miles who's equipped to throw multiple innings to save everyone... you know, the main benefit of a long reliever lol

I know the exit velocity stats aren't always right.  but...

Matt Shaw - 101 36 392 feet

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. - 101 35 332 feet

What the living f***?  I've always noticed that his fly balls never as go as far as others for same exit v and angle.  That example is extreme and may not be entirally accurate but the trend holds.  Even when he used to hit the ball 118 mph it never went as far as you thought it should.

Guy needs to go for swing repair.

Do everyone in the Cubs lineup have more HR’s then Vladdy?

Almost every regular and many part timers have more HRs than Vlad.

These are supposed to be his good year to help stomach the back half when he becomes a 400 pound DH lol
