Laika Community Moderator Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Sucks to have the off day sort of wasted by needing to use so many RP yesterday
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 25 Posted April 25 The IL / hurt situation is wild Alejandro Kirk George Springer Addison Barger Nathan Lukes Trey Yesavage Shane Bieber Cody Ponce José Berríos Yimi García Lazaro Estrada Tony Taters Bowden Francis Ricky Tiedemann Jake Bloss Jeff Hoffman (at least has a bruised ego) Eric Lauer (no balls) Max Scherzer (geriatric f***) Rynodb1, Spanky__99 and Gen.Disarray 1 2
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted April 25 Posted April 25 The over 40 crowd on this board really pulling for Max.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Lauer about to go into a rage (of public complaining).

He could just air it out for one inning and let it fly every pitch. I think Jays24 even floated the idea during the offseason of trying him as a closer. I’d definitely be interested to see whether Max would be open to a move to the pen - kind of like what Smoltz did later in his career. Jays24 1

Scherzer is at a point where hes a failed starter now due to performance and health. It wont hurt to see how he does if given 1 inning to air it all out. Just not sure if Max cares to go down that path but thats his only remaining path if he wants to stay on the field. jaysblue 1

Its honestly become a big part of the game and i love it. Hope more importence is placed on the ABS metrics as it can change games dramatically.

Doubleplay21 Verified Member Posted April 25 Posted April 25 This plate umpire is really bad. Calling balls as strikes

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 25 Posted April 25 They should make it a verbal sign and not a helmet tap to avoid this scenario.

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Man, that was way too close to risk your final challenge on. Delauter was lucky he was right.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 25 Posted April 25 It sucks that every walk and single is basically a Double vs the Blue Jays because our Catchers can't throw the ball to second. Jays24 and HomeRunHomer 2
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Are the Jays last in baseball in throwing our base stealers? Like its gotta be horrible
Rynodb1 Verified Member Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Just got home from coaching a little league team. Can't wait to bless you all with that same expertise in here for this game.

We have a lot of pitchers that do a terrible job holding runners. You can't pin it all on the catcher. Spanky__99 1
