Straight Zeros from the Jays pen. If only Max didn’t give up 8 runs.

The pen has been amazing. Hell even Joe Mantiply seems to be finding himself again.

Brendan Little was really our only sore spot.

Well f*** me I got tickets for coupe games in June, don’t even want to go if they’re playing like this

Last season, I booked my flights to Minny back in March for the series in June and at this time/end of April I was questioning if I wanted to go haha.

Statistical noise

Has nothing do with any "noise."

I'm watching it happen game after game. Sure, its being talked about a lot, but that's because it's literally what's happening on a daily basis.

The season is long, and its early. But that doesn't change the fact that its hard to watch right now. Nobody feels confident when we get a leadoff double.

Yeah he was terrible. Walked the bases loaded twice in 2 innings. Really only looked good in the first.

I think Max needs to be in a bullpen role where he can air it out for 1 inning

Same way last season started. It didn’t get better till mid/late May

This was probably mentioned but our bullpen didn't give up a run the entire series.

But our starters combined to give up 19 runs and we lost 2 of the 3 games anyway.

Unbelievable

It's like only one part of the system (SP or RP or Offense) can be working properly at a time

2 legitimately awful starts. Hoping Lauer was still just feeling sick a bit

It seems like in 10 days or so we should have Barger, Springer and Yesavage back.

Just need to tread some water on this road trip. Thankfully the AL is sucking ass. Somehow we are only 2 games back of the AL East lead.

Yankees have lost 5 in a row?!?!?

I didn't know until I looked at the standings.  Well that sure helps LOL.

No team in the AL East is really taking off so far. Despite the Blue Jays trainwreck start only 2 back in the division.

I had it one f***ing day, shot a 73

Nice, I was never able to break 80 sadly despite being an 8 cap at my lowest.  I came so close so many times but my head would always ruin it.  I needed to smash through the milestones to prevent blowups wrecking them.  First time breaking 100 was a 91 and first time breaking 90 was an 85.

Now I play so little I am lucky to break 100 again.

Just got to ride the wave of early ghouls and goblins until we can get a little healthier and a couple of guys can start finding their groove.

Just don't fall too far behind.

It would’ve been nice to take two of three from the Twins at home before heading out west.

The Jays have had an easy schedule to start the season. Injuries are a factor, but they still need to capitalize on this stretch. Going 2-7 combined against the Rockies, White Sox, and Twins is a missed opportunity.

They can’t afford to fall too far behind early. Right now, the hope is that they can hang around .500 through the end of April.

They’re lucky the Rays swept the Yankees, because no team has pulled away in the AL East just yet.
